What would you do if you suddenly did not exist?  If your co-workers eating at a local pancake house didn't recognize you?  If you were no longer on file at the Social Security Administration?  If your driver's license number was now assigned to someone else?  If your online bank refused to allow you to log in?  What would you do if every scrap of evidence that you were alive had suddenly vanished?
