Top Tips For How to Market Your Book on Amazon and Facebook:  Action Steps You Can Do Immediately Whether You Are Traditionally Published or Self-Published, by Phyllis Zimbler Miller – a Review By R. Clint Peters

I recently reached a crossroads in my attempt to bring The Alberta Connection, a Ryce Dalton novel, out of hiding.  After longs hours of long days, I have finally completed the editing process.  But now what?

I have had nothing but trouble with the self publisher I chose to print my first three novels, so I was not going back down that road.  My fourth novel was loaded on CreateSpace, so it was a simple choice to use that for The Alberta Connection, a Ryce Dalton novel..

When I finally got The Alberta Connection  positioned on CreateSpace, I had some free time, and Phyllis Zimbler Miller’s  treatise on publishing seemed to be an excellent avenue to increase my presence on the Internet.

So far, I have followed her instructions to create a page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/R.Clint.Peters.Author) and submit my novel to KDP (https://www.amazon.com/author/rclintpeters).

I did learn one thing from my experience with Facebook:  I decided to add the word “Author” after my name.  I had already set-up a Facebook page for R.Clint.Peters, but neglected to take out the dots when I changed the name to R.Clint.Peters.Author.  And since the page name can be changed only once, I am stuck with the dots in the name.  Does it make entering my page cumbersome?  I personally think so, but I have no alternatives.

Recommendation:  Read all of the tips before jumping into the tar pits.

All in all, I highly recommend Top Tips For How to Market Your Book on Amazon and Facebook:  Action Steps You Can Do Immediately Whether You Are Traditionally Published or Self-Published, by Phyllis Zimbler Miller
