People seem to be confused about leaving comments on blogs, but comments are extremely important for both the blog, and the person who made the comment.
When you leave a comment, your name is linked to your website, which may improve your personal site ranking with Google. And because your web link is included, other readers may click through and visit your site.
You can contribute to the conversation. Did the post or page contents help you? Do you have something to add?
Because you have commented on someone’s blog, you might get more comments on your blog, and more visibility with other readers.
Most blog authors pay attention to comments and appreciate users who take the time to contribute.
Comments show blog readers that the blog is being read and evaluated.
If you like what you read, tell the world you liked it. If you didn’t like what you read, it is important to also let the blog author know. However, be tactful. A well-considered response is infinitely better than telling the blog author he/she is a total idiot, and should cease to blog.
