New Adventures in My Search to Become a Better Author, by R. Clint Peters

Recently, I asked the readers of the Book Reviewers & Authors Club blog to do a review of a re-write of my first novel.
One of the reviewers who agreed to review my book happens to be the friend who took a look at a previous novel and didn’t pull any punches. (For which I will be eternally grateful.) She has not taken any prisoners this time, either. She suggested my next step in learning to be a writer should include three books. Two of the three are available at my local library. One is not, but I have found used copies for less then $5.00.
While I was waiting for one of the books to arrive at my local branch, I went searching on Amazon for free books to help writers. I found several.
How to Write a New York Times Best Seller How to Write a Novel, A Practical guide to the Art of Fiction The Technique of Fiction Writing How to Write Clearly, Rules and Exercises on English Composition
I intend to report on each of the books I have assembled, not as a book report, but as an evaluation of what the author is trying to convey to me as a writer. I will use the novel I am attempting to re-write as a platform to provide insights into what I wrote the first time and what it has become.
