A group on LinkedIn has started a discussion about Kindle Unlimited with two questions: 1) What do you think about the new Kindle Unlimited program? 2) Has anyone signed up for it?
Since I know nothing about Kindle Unlimited, I did a little research. Here’s what I discovered. For $9.99/month, a member has access to over 600,000 titles and thousands of audio books.
However, here’s what some of the group on LinkedIn are saying:
“I can’t see much value in it. I’ve had books on Kindle Select and it used to be worth it. Public libraries are free, and many are loaning ebooks. And, there are many titles for $2.99. You can buy three books a month and have a dollar for a cup of coffee.”
“It’s Amazon taking care of business….again.”
The question I have is: Has anyone at The Authors Club signed up for Kindle Unlimited? And if you have, what do you think about it? Take a few moments and let your feelings be known. I’d like to add your comments to those on LinkedIn.
