An Easy Way to Tweet, a Post by R. Clint Peters

The importance of tweeting can’t be over emphasized.  It is the life blood of Twitter.  There are several free programs to allow you to tweet, but I have discovered one common denominator that slows down the action:  I have to type what I want to tweet into the “What’s Happening” box on Twitter or the box on the tweet programs.  Either way, it’s a pain in the fingers.

There is an alternative.  Compose your tweets in your word processor and then copy and paste them to Twitter.

Here are a few of the tweets I send out:

It takes a minute to sign onto Twitter and then a minute or two to copy and paste those tweets into the tweet box or into the box of an automatic tweeter.

Why did I include tweets about The Author’s Club?

It’s all about the numbers, and you can help increase the numbers in The Author’s Club by tweeting about The Author’s Club five minutes a day.

Why does every author who ever put a pen to a page want to be on Amazon?  Because it’s the BIGGEST library in the Universe.  The publisher who is publishing The Alberta Connection, a Ryce Dalton novel, found the novel on Amazon.

If you could spend five minutes a day tweeting about The Author’s Club with the potential of someone finding your novel, would you tweet for five minutes a day?

The Author’s Club has over 125 members.   If each member tweeted about the club five times a day, that would result in 625 tweets about the club every day.  If five new members joined each week, in six months the membership would double.  And the daily tweets would double.

There are no promises in social media, but there are possibilities.  If you were promised success by tweeting five minutes a day, would you spend that time tweeting?  Try it for three months.  See if your five minutes a day will help you and the rest of The Author’s Club.
